Those of us living in benighted cultural backwaters like northern Wisconsin also find eBay to be the primary, if not only, source of vintage parts. There are no jumbles/swap meets in this area that have quality vintage parts; the nearest is the annual Cronometro swap meet in Madison, 2 hours drive from here.
