Might be a veiled drug reference (its my beloved old San Francisco afterall), but more likely it just stands for "South of Market", a neighborhood of San Francisco. Soma specializes in bikes adapted to the constraints of San Francisco cycling, but of course want to sell to anyone. I do think they have been missing the Tiburon Ferry boat for a lot of years now by not making a baguette rack for an accessory. I would insist on one if I lived there again. J.P. Weigle are you listening?
