The UV inks that commercial printers use are not for UV protection but are inks and coatings that are cured by UV lights during the printing process to give different effects such as spot varnish and contrasting texture.

Many commercial printers apply something called UV coating to covers -- annual reports etc. -- so they won't fade.

I'd check into that.
