Subject: [CR]FS: '76 Schwinn Paramount track bike

Greetings list: A good buddy of mine has decided that he is no longer content to just spend winters in the southern hemisphere with his wife. He is making a permanent move to Rio de Janeiro and doesn't want his IMMACULATE and ORIGINAL 1976 Schwinn Paramount track bike to spend the rest of it's years in a dark storage room. I will be selling the bike for him and thought I'd give the list a "heads up" before I list to eBay.

The bike is a Schwinn size 22" with all of it's original Campagnolo and Cinelli components. The paint (a rich royal blue) is in great original condition, with the small amount of nicks and touch ups you'd expect to find on a bike that has been well cared for but ridden over the last 30 years. The top tube is missing it's "Paramount" decal and the original Cinelli Unicanitor saddle has been replaced. I am in the process of trying to locate a Unicanitor to include in the sale. Otherwise, I have a decent Brooks Pro to include.

Campagnolo Nuovo Record headset, bottom bracket, seatpost, pista crankset/chainring, pedals. Cinelli alloy pista bar and stem. Cinelli alloy toe clips and Alfredo Binda toe straps. Regina chain, unknown cog. Original Schwinn/Super Champion tubular rims laced to "drillium" Paramount/Campagnolo high flange hubs. Tires are a newer Clement replacement, but probably ought to be re-glued (this was my buddy Jon's first attempt at gluing on tubulars...not Professional quality. Please don't tell him I said that.)

I will take more pictures to have available for email on Sunday, should any of you be interested. $1300 or best offer.

Thanks for looking,
