To answer your question is another question. When did Colnago win (As a Bike Manufacture) their first world Championship. I think then you will have your answer.

This is a question for all you Colnago experts out there. I am restoring a 1974 Colnago Super and I can't figure out which head tube decal to use since I've seen two different ones used on restorations of that particular year. If you look at the green 74 Colnago on the wooljersey website, you'll note the clover leaf without the world champion stripes. I've seen this one used on quite a few restorations online including one by Brian Baylis I believe. However, I've also seen 74 Colnago's (including my own) with the clover leaf and stripes. So what's up? Can you use either one?
