Subject: [CR]56 cm C/C Italian racing bike for sale

I have an Italian racing bike labelled Ghidini for sale. The bike is a 56 cm C/C seat tube by 56 cm C/C top tube. Gianni Ghidini, the namesake for this bike, was the amateur world road champion for Italy in the early 50's. Shortly after the world championship win he passed to the pro ranks but was not overly successful there. He later set up a shop in his home town of Parma. This is one of the bikes that were built specially for the shop. I believe it was built by Romani but am not absolutely sure thereof.

This bike is equipped with mainly Campagnolo Nuovo Record gruppo with the exception of the following: The headset is a Miche alloy model. The seatpost is a Miche aero model

The bike climbs very well and the neutral steering makes for a very comfortable ride. The bike is lighter than what I had expected and is therefore especially well-suited to a lighter rider. The paint and chrome are both very good. The decals are not quite as good as the rest of the bike as they were not clear-coated. The frame is made of Columbus tubing.

I would like $600 for the bike plus shipping
