Subject: [CR]path racer sizing and fit

As a consequence of my post yesterday inquiring about purchasing a Malvern 5 Star (many thanks to the folks who responded, and apologies if I haven't yet gotten back to you) I've realized that I'm not quite clear on how a path racer should fit.

I ride a 53.5cm (with a 53.5cm top tube) road frame, with more than a fist-full of seatpost showing, 100mm of stem, and the bars lower than the saddle (it's what I grew up on, and it's what feels right to me). Can anyone translate those measurements into path racer geometry? From what I've seen the ratio of top-tube length to seat-tube length seems to be quite a bit larger for those frames.

Many thanks
