Well, I sort of agree but think you are not covering the whole picture..
First, new members need to read the darn rules. I find it amazing that so many new sign ups never even glance at those. I guess we are innudated with "rules" & "terms" that we just zip by and dive in... But it always causes problems here on the CR...
Obviously Mr. Bielstein had no nefarious intent in "trolling" that Paramount frame (for only $35 for gosh sakes!) but most often we have people join who have no interest in old bikes except to max out how much $ they can make. That has nothing to do with the intent and purpose of this list.
Finally, writers need to be a little tougher in this big mean world. If a reminder of prevalent rules and procedures send folks scurrying back in their hiding place, they need to buck it up! Sorry! I bet Hal Bielstein will see that he is welcome and contribute more to the CR list.... and not be cowed by this little bit of "centering!"
