Isn't it Blackburn that makes the thinner, shapelier clamps out of stainless? I've used these, there's even a location dimple for the holes in the cage, and their thin profile hardly detracts from the paintwork at all. I think I paid 6.95/pr or so.

The generic clamps cost 5X less, but look it. Those are available almost everywhere.
