Fore sale and auction:

~1974 Lejeune frame set with Campagnolo NR headset, bottom braket, seat post and DT shifter cable guide. On ebay, item number 120075396264 or search under my ebay name of tr4play.

CR members are welcome to her for $100 less then the Buy it Now price ($425 vs. $525) - just hit buy it now and identify yourself as a CR member. Otherswise, bid as desired. Here is a copy of my ebay decription:

This is a circa 1974 used Lejeune Champion du Monde frame and fork made from full Reynolds 531DB tubing. This was their top of the line offering. Long point nicely filed lugs, diamond reinforcements on the rear brake bridge, signature details such as the mud guard eyelets on their racing frames, seat stay caps that overlap the stays a tad (like on many Raleigh Team Pro's and some upper tier Zeus frames) and the rear dearilleur cable guide hoop on the lower end of the right rear seat stay. Included with the frame is a very nice and correct Campagnolo Nuovo Record head set, bottom bracket, seat post and also a proper Campagnolo down tube cable guide. Although new grease is needed in the BB and head set, they both seem to be in fine condition. Frame wears her original "LEJEUNE Team Red" paint and decals and has a genuine patina of use (ie. plenty of chips but no dents) that when cleaned up and assembled with nice used components would make for a smart, relatively rare and highly respected early 70's vintage racing bike. I own an original 1974 brochure of this bike and will include a photo copy of it with the sale. This bike was originally equipped with full Campagnolo Record or Nuovo Record components plus Cinelli bar and stem, large flange hubs, Brooks Professional saddle, Super Champion rims, Wolber sew up tires, Christophe clips and Lejeune logo'd straps. What is seen is what you will recieve. She will be very well packaged. Seat tube is 57cm c-c, top tube is 56cm c-c, rear width is 122mm.

I purchased the frame from a well respected list member at last year's Cirque but really just have to many projects and have been moving some of my excess goodies of late.

Thanks for looking,
