I guess Harlan was somewhat of a futurist. Not only did he fabricate a large portion of the components, but the designs were predictive of where things have gone. My Cosmopolitan (serial #6) even has a Hi-E crankset including a pipe-type bottom bracket! Then there is the no thread-set kind of headset and stem combination, etc. Even the massive tube diameter was before the mass-produced off-topic marques.
Frame sure made noise when ridden....
