Subject: [CR]Small Masi Geometry?

Hi, back to Masis!!

I have a 1980 GC, which seems to have a very short frame. It's an M53 and measures 53 cm from BB center to the to of the seat tube lug. Seat tube is 51 cm c-c and the TT is about 51.5 cm c-c, very short, and the wheelbase is 95 cm.

On ebay there is an M52 GC frame (claimed S/N 5002) that is newer than mine, auction 160080283389. Frame looks nice but is damaged by drilling, a sign of impaired owner judgement IMO (it's up to $102.50 as I type with reserve not met, for what it's worth?). BUT, the seat tube length is claimed as 52 cm c-c and the top tube length is 54 cm c-c. There's a discrepancey between the M52 designator and the 52 cm c-c measurement, but the TT is what's interesting.

I also recall a past Italian 3V on Ebay, with claimed seat tube length of 52 cm c-c and TT of 55 cm c-c.

My question is, is the geometry of the current Ebay frame typical of small Gran Criteriums? Does anyone have a good set of numbers for a non-custom M52 or M53 Gran Criterium? I haven't found anything comprehensive posted on the List or anywhere, but that could just be my low Google skills.

Inquiring Masiphiles (at least this one) want to know!
