1974 plain lug PX 10 semi project. 22" or 56cm center to center. Nice nearly complete original bike that needs a wheelset, brakeset, and rear derailleur to finish. I've already done a complete tear down, rubbed out the paint and chrome, scrubbed all the parts, and re-assembled the BB and headset.
Condition is what I would call an excellent "rider". It was a one owner reasonably cared for bike that was never stored outside. It was ridden a lot in the day but had been sitting for the last decade or so. The paint is good overall but has the usual small scratches scattered about (mostly on the top tube and stays), some light staining and some loss of sheen. The worst is a large scratch through the paint on the top of the right stay, and some rub marks on the back of the seat tube (I've tried to show the worst in the photos). There's also rust stains under the top-tube cable clips and shifter clamp, but they are covered by the clips and clamp. The paint has been rubbed out and waxed already so what you see is as good as it's going to get. The decals are pretty nice, except for the Reynolds ones on the seat-tube and fork legs. The chrome on the stays is excellent. No dents or damage. The rear der hanger has been threaded but not filed on.
Parts are in good shape as well with just normal wear. The headset and BB were excellent with no pitting on the races. Original Brooks Pro is in good shape and has a nice patina. Everything shown on the bike has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected except for the pedals, which feel fine but should be re-packed before use. I will include a later Simplex rear derailleur. Chain is there too but not shown.
