Listers and Listees,

My Thrift Store find was a 1979 Motobecane LeChampion in excellent condition. The 57 cm, gold Reynolds 531 Frame with long pointed lugs with cut-outs appears to have been built up with mostly high end and rare French Parts including a Huret Titane rear derailleur, a Huret Jubillee front derailleur, a Stronglight 105 Crank with drilled black anodized chain rings, a Phillipe Professional bar and stem, wheels with Alpin Hubs (a short run, Maxi-car derivative) laced to Super Champion Competition rims, Sifem pedals with J. Ruhier Competition toe clips and Paturaud white straps. (Forgive my spelling). I brought it to the Cirque a couple of years ago. I had to pay $20 for this little French beauty. Still have it. Anyone ever seen Alpin Hubs or J. Ruhier clips?
