I bought this frame about a year ago (4used) and built it up. I believe it is from the first year of production of this model because of the chromed bits which don't appear on later models. Unfortunately it's a little too big for me. Too bad, because it is beautiful and in great condition.
Here are the specs: Seat tube: 60cm c-c, 61.2cm c-t Top tube: 59cm c-c Standover: 85.5 cm (excluding brake cable) Wheel base: 99cm
- Paint is really nice DARK blue (looks black inside) - Original decals in great condition (one tiny blemish on one of the downtube decals). Columbus decal has been smeared a bit, all decals are under clearcoat. - Chromed seatstays, chainstays and fork - near perfect. - Paint shows some wear on the top tube and a from the brake cable - A couple minor paint chips - Not a show bike but still VERY NICE. - Ciocc engraved seat stay caps and fork crown.
Frame and fork only. $550 shipped in the US - this is a bit less than I paid. Will ship overseas but will have to check on prices.
Will consider trades for something similar, Italian (or Belgian), early/mid 80's. Road or track, 58/59 c-c.
