I heard yesterday that Wally Green died a week or so ago. he sponsored a team of independents (semi pro) in the fifties. The general view seems to be that the frames weren't built on the premises although this contradicts the entry on the C.R. site. I suspect the site is correct. I will phone Frank Ward who rode for Wally to see what he knows. I think the shop was in Enfield (North London) I spoke to Doug Collins yesterday about Ken Ryall. Doug has known Ken for nearly sixty years, lived near his shop, rode as an Indy for him (Ryall Raxar) and yet he doesn't know who built his frames. He thinks that maybe Stan Pike built them in the latter years. Ken Ryall sold the business to Roy Thame who closed the shop after about five years. Doug said that Ken had another shop at one time that was managed by Cyril Peacock former world Am. sprint champion. 1954 I think.
