How did you do that? Dremel art? Aluminum eating worms? Roto-rooter? Dale Brown Greensboro, North Carolina USA -----Original Message----- From: terminaut@gmail.com To: Classicrendezvous@bikelist.org Sent: Sun, 1 Apr 2007 6:44 PM Subject: [CR]Eddy!

Well - since I'm not clever enough to think of good April's Fools jokes I thought I'd try something constructive today and that seems to work out better for me. :-)

Anyways - my Colnago-Merckx-Moronni-Behringer track bike has been lusting after the chainring on the actual Hour Record bike, and seeing as how the likelihood of finding such a ring was pretty much zilch I decided to take matters into my own hands.

Have a looksie. Here's the actual ring:

...and here's what I came up with:

The ring turned out pretty decent, but life and limb was nearly lost in the making so I will defer future endeavors such as this to the pros...

Cheers from a beautiful day in Huntington Beach, CA - USA
