Hello All,

I vote for the Gipiemme Special tandem crankset. I had Jeff Lyon order one for our tandem back in '83. It resembles a NR crankset, but the 36t inner chainring attaches to a very stout spider rather than the Campagnolo bolt/spacer affair. On the debit side, the plastic dust covers decomposed in afew years and the chainrings were ever so slightly oval. Both were replaced with interchangeable Campagnolo parts.

- who made the BEST campagnolo / cinelli copy ~ either single component, or entire groupset.

- appearance / finish quality - durability - longevity / compatibility (spare parts)

I have my own idea about the answer, but I'll hold off answering until others have chimed in with their opinions.
