yes the Campy steel Gran Turismo is one of the best pieces of eye candy ever.

I will also say that, from an anthropometrics standpoint, we should categorize "Q" as historically correct to be somewhat narrower in the past than today, just as handlebar widths have so increased. I would bet shoulder widths have increased, shoes are wider, weights.... You get the idea. I'm not getting into the debate on what is the best "Q", as Jobst says we adapt somewhat, but I am saying there is no one size fits all or most. I weigh 128 and my pelvic width is considerably narrower than most people reading this. Adding a larger moment of force to every downward stroke by 20mm or so wider cranks may not be as optimum for riders such as I.
