Recent shipping of my Maino by Italian post office "Pacccocelere Internatzionale PCE-Ordinario-Mere" was 128.80 Euros. Arrived in 2 weeks in perfect shape in cardboard bike box with lots of bubble wrap and forks and dropouts braced. From Umbria to San Antonio. Art Link,San Antonio,TX,USA

Can anyone please let me know on the list or privately what are the reasonably priced safe ways to ship a complete vintage bike from Italy to North America?

I've lucked into something very special but the seller has no prior experience shipping this kind of thing overseas, and I'd like to give him specific advice.
