CR list,
My name is Brian Fessenden am a new list member, I
live in Orinda California. Like most of you, I was
bitten by the bike bug in the early 70's. Raced and
rode through out the years-always enjoying that
special feeling of riding a bike. It was the Italian
stuff that really did it to me, there was/is nothing
nicer then a (Masi/Pogliaghi/colnago/cinelli) with
Campy parts on it. I have been enjoying reading the
list for several months, learned a lot, and I am
amazed at the knowledge that you all have.
Moving onto my question; The Pogliaghi that was
recently listed on eBay, the light blue one with the
serial number 9630 was being sold as original.
any thoughts on this? My take is that this is an early
70's bike that was repainted in the later 70's, and at
this time had additional braze on's added.
