And Larry, be sure to tie and solder the spokes at the crossings farthest from the hub. That increases the lateral strength that Robert is talking about. I can tell you how if you haven't done that before. (Does anybody know if you can still buy 'bee keepers wire?') In any case, get a spoke tension tester or whatever it's called.
