I've read that the rotation of the tape-wrap is a compromise if you don't reverse direction at the brake-levers, unless you adopt the methid described at the end of this article: http://www.parktool.com/repair/readhowto.asp?id=71

Could somebody please start a discussion of whether one turns the tape clockwise or counterclockwise when wrapping handlebars, and whether either direction works better on the upper part of the bars vs. the lower?
