Sorry you lost the bid on this, Bob... I almost bid myself but she's about 1/2" too small for me. A gorgeous example of an excellent and quite rare model.

This dates, I believe, to about 1966. Peter Koskinen has a complete machine in 22". Reynolds 531 db, All Campagnolo NR, Weinmann centre pulls, GB brakes and stem, no name tubular rims, high flange Record hubs. So a primo machine and essentially a Dunelt badged International.

The serial number is not a Raleigh one and if Carlton, would put it at '62 which is a tad early I think. All Dunelts were Nottingham-made by Raleigh but when this was made all 531 production had been switched to Carlton, Worksop, except for the Raleigh Record Tour of Britain frameset which actually is very, very similar to this. So I am not sure where these were made. I have a hunch it was Nottingham.

Why Dunelt? Possibly this was a market test since it's just prior to the reintroduction of Raleigh 531 machines in the US market. And, to my knowledge, this model was only a US market one. Other than Peter's, I am aware of maybe two or three others.
