... saved several months literally to buy a columbus frame. it was a palo
alto touring sl back when. the kids at the local shop put all the bits
from my prior ride, a cheap fuji but with some avocet bits, on it. rode it
into dc for the fourth, thought we were something. later, riding back near
the back of the treasury bldg i heard this tinkle sound. stopped a little
bit further and looked down. as if on cue all the chain rings bolts fell
out. no one at the shop had tightnened everything. at least i found all
the bits.
