Seems to me it's a real crime to have parted out that bike. But Grant Handley knows better than anyone what this stuff is worth. He's sold most of his stuff to Japan over the years, for extremely high prices..and I can only guess that he felt that this bike would fetch more in pieces, since it's not a good size for Japan.
But it's still a crime to have done what he did. I couldn't have done it.
It might not have sold for 6500 complete. But so what? Some things are more important than money. Although, not to everyone, apparently.
