Group--- My second bike listed with you-all today. This is a British Racing Green CLAUD BUTLER, in very good condition. The components are CPSC compliant, so I assume that it is a 1978 vintage, or soon thereafter.

The paint has a few of the usual little nicks here and there (with several on the inside of the right chain stay from the chain). Overall, ithe finish and appearance of the bike is beautiful. BUMMER----- The decals on both sides of the downtube are coming off in spots. The decals are available from Nick T. --- the best approach would be to either leave them alone, or remove them completely, polish out the paint, and replace them.

The lugs are very simple, yet elegant. Overall, the bike reminds me of a Paramount (sacrilege?) with it's overall presence and quality of construction, but is much less common.

This is one of the nicer bikes in my collection, which is being reduced for a variety of reasons. It will be a delightful machine for one of our somewhat elongated riders---- an excellent example of British craftsmanship.

Price is $975, plus actual postage. I will carefully pack it and generally ship via UPS or Fedex.
