Subject: [CR]dating my Claud Butler

I would like to date my recently acquired Claud Butler track frame/fork. Long story short, I paid $30 for the complete bike at my corner deli here in Brooklyn. She need some serious TLC.
>From the decal package, I guessed that it was a 70's bike...though research online has led me to the following 1952 bike on Classic Rendezvous: http://www.classicrendezvous.com/British_isles/Butler_Claud/claud_butler_Warnick1.htm My frame has IDENTICAL construction details: lugs, fork stay caps, track ends, twin plate fork crown. It also has an oil port hole on the top of the bottom bracket shell. The serial number (on BB and fork steerer tube) is H7123932. So perhaps this is a Holdsworth built 1971 bike? Or do the build details an earlier bike with a later respray? Anyone have any idea? Other markings on the BB shell include: "British Made", "RD 90", "54/C". Thanks for your help, Matthew Bowne Brooklyn, New York
