Dear Listmembers, Some time ago we had a disussion here on painting frames versus powdercoating. There was general consensus that powdercoating takes away a lot of the details in lugs and engraved parts. Look at this auction on german ebay and you will find a perfect example for that. A restored Eddy merckx frame in molteni finish obviously powdered (although the seller does not state this specifically). Front changer braze on and top mounted shifter boss indicates being built in the early eighties. BTW it looks like the seller used one of Listmember Greg Softley's sticker sets...
