That is certainly a beautiful example. Mark did similar lug shaping when he was at Strawberry before this. I really enjoy the super thin lugs. In that mid 70's era around Oregon, you say Strawberry's, Merz's, Bruce Gordon's and Davidson's for custom bikes. I was always impressed with the paint that was done at Merz. It was a woman as I recall, but the name escapes me.

I know that Mark went to work at Specialized in California, then got interested in vintage motorcycles. Lat I heard, he was living in Central Oregon. He was also a very good racer in the early 70's along with Bill Haley.
