Judging by the "Tour" books published every year by the Kennedy Brothers, it appears that Italian team bikes switched to top-tube brake cable braze-ons circa 1978.
Eyeballing the books, it appears that Gios was the only team that had TT brake cable brazeons in 1976, and Bianchi was the only team without them in 1978.
I expect the Ebay De Rosa is several years newer than 1974.
