with bb, dropouts. fork crown and fade paint job, let me first say that
I have ridden a bunch of bikes, some famous, some revered, some
belittled, some sleepers, and this one, with all its faults is a fine
race bike. It's comfortable, predictable at 45 plus mph and handles
well. It's horrible fade paint job makes it impossible to touch up.
It's rear brake bridge has the air holes drilled at two different
heights (that will take quite a bit of work to fix before painting).
It's lugs are shamefull and the seat cluster actually has a little wave
in the shoreline (visable from photo). I plan to paint an interesting
and vibrant color, replace all the proper decals and correct everything
above. I would appreciate any and all comments ... good and bad.
