Dear George, This is a nice frame but in no way rare. I have seen a couple of frames a like. All of them were produced in Italy al bearing Cinelli fork crowns, brake bridges and BB housings and all being labelled for different makers, mostly bigger bike stores. A dealer in my area sold them and also sold the same models as Vetta frames. So i suspect them being made by vetta or another bigger italian maker. Those frames have typically Columbus tubing and engraved "personalized" parts, such as the seat stays with this frame. A lot of them even came with golden lugs, most of them were chromed and painted in chromovealto. It would not make me wonder if Bombieri turned out to be an italian bike shop. Nice frame but not really rare... Regards
