I have two Viscount "Aerospace Sport" models from 1976 (23 and 24 inch, both with 22-1/2" TT) and both of these have Sugino Maxi cranksets with tapered, pressed-in bottom bracket. These bikes came with chromed steel forks, Shimano "50" front and "Tourney" rear derailers, plus their in-house hi-flange, cartridge-bearing hubs, centerpull brakeset, sculpted stem and lightweight bars. Hex bolts and socket heads appear to all be inches, and the crank bolts have extra-fine threading. I recall working on one of the more upscale "Aerospace" models back in 1976! I had to restore the crankarm's puller opening in order to pound-then-screw in my Park 2-sided puller, since the arm's threaded opening had been scraped heavily against something. I can't recall why I had to pull the arm off, or if I was perhaps just trying to restore the threaded bore to fit a new cover, but I did get one side the puller to screw in. That one definitely had the round-holed chainring, though, not the three-armed Maxi cranks on mine.
