Just thought I'd share another nice wide tubular tire for road use,,,,the Vittoria "Normalcross" measuring approximately 28mm in width. While intended for cyclocross use, their "less aggressive" diamond or file tread make them very suitable for road use. I run about 90 PSI in them and find them to roll just as nice as narrower road-specific tubulars. These are probably very similar to the Tufos being described on the list.

I recall purchasing one pair online from Italtecno, and believe you can still purchase them from several UK dealers.
