Subject: [CR]Superbe BB - What was so Unusual?

I'm collecting Suntour bits to build up a Weigle frame. Maybe Cyclone, maybe Superbe, maybe a mix. I've heard a lot of talk in the past about the Superbe arms requiring an unusual BB, I think Rivendell started this. This always struck me odd as I'm pretty sure Sugino made all the Suntour cranks, and AFAIK, high end Sugino BB's were Campy clones, lower end models JIS. Noting rare there. So was the Superbe BB different from other Sugino/Suntour BB's?. If so, how? Is this true only of Superbe Pro, or also the first generation Superbe that appears to be just a rebadged Sungino Super Mighty? Are there any other SunTour BB's, maybe off-topic later ones, that will work with superbe arms? Or is this whole thing just and urban myth?
