I need to correct myself with regards to my use of the "twin-plate" terminology. What I was referring to actually is the "faux twin-plate" cast crown fork and a photo of such a fork can be seen here:

I'm not sure who owns that bike but that's one Special Pista I'd really have a hard time passing up!
