What an amazing pile of editorial rubbish...sheer rubbish. From someone who claims he doesn't ride and will take the word of fixed gear riders in regards to it smoothing pedal stroke...which isn't an opinion but fact regarding smoothing and improving... you sure toss out a great deal of assumptions regarding the results of riding a fixed and coming to an object...etc. Interesting claims to know what will happen or does happen upon riding a fixed gear and in the same paragraph states he doesn't ride one nor will. Peer pressure fad...hmmm. Interesting as well. Been around since the 20s...still around now. What a fad. one hell of a long fad. Regarding my fixed gear riding I can attest it isn't a cultural identity thing when I live in a town of population 900 or so and am the only rider and people don't even notice me riding...i guess I am a "trendsetter" aye? tattooed, drugged...assumptions and rubbish again. I really feel you crossed the line with your post. Quite a bit of foolishness in that opinionated blurb. Made me re-read my earlier post and realize I was at least culturely correct and not biased as well as factual as opposed to someone who is just tossing out crappe statements and opinions.

But hey that's cool...regarding coming upon a fixie and freewheeling when you do...fixie or freewheel...you're welcome to ride behind...way behind me anyday! And I can promise you that!! Regarding what the terrain may be.

now back to our regularly scheduled classic content...it has to be here somewhere!
