Here are a few more details about the CR get-together at the NAHBS, hosted by The Recyclery- we have had input that tells us that Saturday evening (Feb. 9th) works the best for most folks, so we are going with that.
We will close at 6pm that day; festivities will began at 7pm. Any one who is a CR listmember, or who has industry cred, is welcome. There will be a vintage bike & parts expo, beer & pizza, and some fun-and-games events (track-stand duel, Huffy toss, etc.) Local list members, as well as members of Portland Vintage Velo, will break out their nicest vintage rides for your perusal; some of these will also be for sale.
In addition, the Worst Day of the Year Ride takes place the following morning. This is a benefit ride, which helps out the Community Cycling Center, a local non-profit that gives away over 1,000 bikes a year to low-income adults & kids.
