I'm compiling serial numbers and owners' estimated year of construction for Austro Daimler's higher end bikes.
Having a bad case of "A-D" OCD, I've managed to accumulate six in my own collection. They're all sitting in my living room with the piles of old newspapers I can't throw away, and my thirteen cats - I'M JOKING!, er sort of.
Anyway, send me your serial numbers (or approximate if you like) and estimated year of manufacture. Also, any distinguishing characteristics eg. chrome fork crown vs. all chrome fork, chrome seat stay caps vs. painted, chrome lugs vs. painted, top tube braze-ons or lack thereof, paint color, etc.
I would like to keep this to the top AD models; the Vent Noir/Vent Noir II, Superleicht, and Ultima (AD made a lot of lower line bikes and it could get a little bit crazy to track everything)
I will compile a list and distribute it back.
