Some weeks ago in aburst of writer's enthusiasm I introduced this bike to members of the List...but never finished the second half of the story, about it's provenance.

By the way, I would like to thank those members who replied off-List to my request for advice about taking photos. Recently some look as though they have had a film of minute frogspawn or bubblewrap over the lens...No really they're not that bad..and worth a look.
