CirqueMeister Wayne Bingham called together a few of the troops today for a site tour and further conspiracies toward a successful Cirque, June 6 - 8 (http://www.cirqueducyclisme.com/).

The principal events will be at the Leesburg Best Western motel. There are still some rooms, although we're well beyond half the total capacity of the hotel. We checked out one of the rooms, with double queen beds. quite nice, with a mini-fridge (not a mini-bar) for the essential beverages (like GatorAde, of course). Should be comfortable for two. We also get the full use of a large room for seminars, displays and all the rest of the stuff we do.

And then there is Sunday, when we take over the County fairgrounds/4H center. The main building there is much larger than the Lewis Center in Greensboro, so we can spread out - and we have other buildings, as well.

In addition, Leesburg is maybe 30 km/20 miles from Dulles Airport, which is the international and long-distance hub for the DC area (excpet for the Baltimore airport). Just as a hint, Dulles has excellent, non-stop, - and competitive - connections to many locations in Europe.

The countryside is lovely, and the local Potomac Pedalers Touring Club has laid out routes we will adapt for some beautiful rides.

All-in-all, this could be a fine weekend!
