Dear Doug:

I understand your point, but that bike, as well as many others, is considere d to be under the "Keeper of the Flame" category... It was not made before 1 983 but employs the traditional techniques (lugs, brazing, etc) that charact erize the features we look for. I realize that this is a gray area, up for i nterpretation, but many of our modern "KOF" builders also fit there...

Thanks Dale

re tonight's mail:- Hilary Stone, Bristol, England BIANCHI SLX 50cm CAMPAG CROCE D\u2019AUNE c1989 Offered for sale is a lovely 50cm ctc c1989 Bianchi road bike in very light ly used condition. Hilary Stone, Bristol, England I always thought the time line was 1985 and members who have broken this rule have been reminded of this . This is the second time in only a few weeks this trader has advertised out of the time line rules.

So is it there is one rule for some people and not others.

Sorry about raising the subject to one and all but I feel strongly about this type of behaviour !
