Judging from the photos, looks pretty stock to me already except for that ghastly saddle. Yuck! Needs a Brooks small rivet Professional. Looks like you have a very early Peugeot-BP livery PX-10, maybe c. 1967. I think I detect white plastic covers to the skewers and gear levers. Very desirable. And looks in good original condition. Even better.

We all have our opinions here on what to "do" with classic lightweights. Mine is if you collect and ride a classic, you either collect and ride it original or you go out and buy a Trek. Especially when you have what looks like a very complete and original example of a true classic. Swap the saddle, overhaul and clean her up and enjoy her as intended. It all works as well in 2008 as it did in 1967. A PX-10 of this era is a superb, light ride and real icon as well.. Oh... take some better photos to show her off, too!
