Hi All, I was cleaning up a pair of Conloy rims and noticed a dried yellowish substance around the spoke holes in the well of the rim. Is this Linseed Oil? Was it traditionally used to A, help ease the nipples on and then B, stop them coming loose after it had set? An early ''Loctite''? Has anyone heard of this?
