Mr. Jourdain has a very valid point below...

Posting responses to inquiries that are private to public is borderline, but doing so for private responses to a dispute is unethical...

Unless an apology is forthcoming from Mr. Chanberasekaran to Mr. Wahl AND the List - I hereby cast the first vote for a ban of Mr. Chanberasekaran.

Dear Mr. Chanberasekaran ---

Did Mr. Wahl give you PERMISSION to post to the List his PRIVATE, OFFLIST correspondence with you? Not very cricket. While I strongly disagree with Mr. Wahl's initial public post and the inferences aimed at Dale, I actually did receive from Mr. Wahl a private response to my CR message that was restrained, well-reasoned and gentlemanly.

But then again, I didn't end my missive with an interrogatory accusing Mr. Wahl of being mentally ill. After the string of invective Mr. Wahl has received both on and offlist, some of it actionably libelous, what kind of response do you expect? ("Garbage in, garbage out") And then to publish it here...it can only be an attempt to hoist Mr. Wahl up publicly on his own private petard. He wrote those words to YOU, not to US.

And, sorry to say, mate, I believe you also failed to sign off properly.
