Tim:

When an eBay auction is announced, "the game is set", the rules agreed to, and the? transaction has a form. Of course reneging and duplicity can still occur, but not without potential sanctions.

On the other hand, the offering, or "maybe offering" or "what might it be worth" etc etc, is a sloppy business where no agreements are made, no honorable result is promised, and potential misuse of members is possible....

Thanks for asking for clarification, everyone benefits from clarity!!!

Hi list, thanks for all those members that pointed me in the right direction with regard to the unusual frame set.

It looks like it's a Waller Kingsbury. (according to Hilary Stones article in cycling plus which was sent to me by Waller owner Peter Brown here in the UK.

The son of the original owner dropped it off yesterday and he was from Hackney. So it has not travelled far in its life. (only the 30 miles out of London to me)

The Transfers threw me when it was described on the phone. The frame set needs a paintwork sort out, but the frame is OK from what I can see.

I like the design, it it un-conventional ( a bit like me).

Sorry to all who thought I was fishing for a price. ( the might be for sale ) was a mear reference to the fact that I would probable move it on as I would never do it.

I am a little confused. A list of ebay listings and no prices and a link to them is much the same thing? Maybe wrong?

I have a cycle collector friend whom has lived in Hackney all his life, it will probably end up in his collection. It would be nice for it to get sorted and live back in the London borough it was made in.

Kind Regards, Tim
