O-rings come in standard sizes. The ones originally used on Campagnolo brake adjusters were a metric size, but there are English-sized o-rings that are nearly identical. A couple years ago I bought a bag of 1000 from Marco Rubber (http://www.marcorubber.com) for $20, gave 'em away to dang near everyone, and still have enough left to last several lifetimes. I used size 2-204; the official size designation of the ones Dale quotes are 2-203, just one notch smaller.

They also are a perfect fit for the lower seal of the oil-filter housing in some early Austin Healeys and MGs, but most of you probably don't care about that.

In any case, when you put these on (the bike, I mean, not the MG), be sure you don't turn them inside out; it's easy to do, especially if you roll them onto the adjuster. Then, the inner part of the o-ring, which is now the outer part, is under too much stress and it will crack in a few months. Then, you're out $0.02.
