At l'Eroica last year, there was a proud father with his about 8 year old daugther, both riding Saronni Red Colnagos which were both equipped with a full Campa Anniversary group, both were in a ful del Tongo kit. The girls bike was a 20' or 22' bike. Now this seems to be the appropriate use for that alloy cogs..... Regards

I certainly understand the argument for 26 or more teeth - my regular rides all have at least a 25 available. But my only experience with the large "small" cog is on junior-limited blocks. Are freewheels with 16-tooth smallest cogs generally used for other purposes? I am not doing the "quien es mas macho?" routine. I rarely use anything smaller than my 14 cog, even downhill. It's just that this ebay offering looks like a "junior block" to me.

As some of us get older, those straight blocks do not work so well on the hills for our once powerful legs. 13-21T freewheels and 12-17T straight blocks show up several times a month on EBAY. This freewheel is rare and NOS.
I used a Campy alloy 28T at L'Eroica. Those are rarer than hens teeth.
