the clb wood rims turned out real neat, with the phil wood track hubs. turns out we had nipples that were a little too long. the spokes were proper, so we nailed it with some medium length ones instead.

was the first time we laced a wheel ... so much so that we have some more wooden rims on order. some high suntour, some low dura-ace. get the picture.

by the way, did not the '60's bianchi comp come in root beer, as did a number of lesser models in the early '70's.

so there you go ... robert is heading off the reservation.
